Fast food choices abound along Kamehameha Highway and throughout Wahiawa town. Two shopping centers with Foodland, Long's Drugs, eateries and services are only 5 minutes away by car. The house is decorated in a charming Hawaiian cottage style with three spacious bedrooms and lots of built-in storage. Three steps down from the main house is the laundry area, a bonus room, shower and bathroom. If you enjoy gardening, the rich soil of the area will allow you to grow your own flowers and vegetables, if you wish. There are two avocado trees, which seem to alternate years in fruit production plus a very sweet lychee tree. The Waianae mountain range provides a beautiful backdrop to the town and can be seen from most areas of Wahiawa. For the beach and picnic-goers, the North shore and Haleiwa town is about 20 minutes away. More restaurants, stores and theatres are a short drive away in Mililani Town. This neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are good, friendly people. Very important during the hot summer! - Wahiawa is always a few degrees cooler than the rest of the island.
