The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a no-kill philosophy.
The Oahu SPCA is seeking a part-time veterinarian to work at our shelter wellness and spay/ neuter clinic as well as our Petco satellite vaccine clinics.
Petco low cost vaccine clinics are designed to be a fast, low cost option for owners to obtain preventative care for their dogs and cats.
Degree in veterinary medicine from an accredited school of veterinary medicine Current license to practice in the state of Hawaii preferred or the ability to obtain a license to practice in Hawaii.
Current Hawaiian Narcotics Enforcement Division (NED) license, or the ability to obtain an NED license.
Current DEA license or the ability to obtain a DEA license.
Absence of any veterinary board disciplinary actions Experience working in shelter or high volume spay/neuter clinic.
Must be available to work some weekends.
Salary commensurate with experience.
